Verse of the Day
Isaiah 40:26
Lift up your eyes on high and see: who created these? He who brings out their host by number, calling them all by name, by the greatness of his might, and because he is strong in power not one is missing.

GCR Values & Priorities
VALUES
These are the Values of Grace Church Roseville. To remember them just remember the acronym GREAT.

G = Grace
R = Relevance
E = Excellence
A = Authenticity
T = Transformation

Grace - Our desire is to demonstrate a "grace-filled" ministry that extends forgiveness, acceptance, and compassion toward those God brings to us, believing the best about others, and providing people opportunities to grow in their faith!
(John 8:1-11; Ephesians 2:3-10)
Relevance - We choose to graciously put aside personal preference and self interest to meet people where they are, speak in language they can relate to, and use creativity in adapting methods to effectively communicate the timelss truth of Scripture.
(1 Corintians 9:19-23; Acts 2:6-12; Acts 17:16-22)
Excellence - Doing the best we can with what we have for the glory of God! Our goal is to have ministry that is always carried out with a high quality-minded approach, carefully and creatively using the resources God provides!
(Malachi 1:6-14; Colossians 3:17)
Authenticity - We are willing to be transparent and honest in relationships! The motivation of our ministry is from a sense of passion versus duty, truth versus tradition, and honesty versus pretense, in complete dependence on God through prayer!
(Matthew 23:1-12, 25-28; II Corinthians 6:3-11)
Transformation - We have a heart-felt desire to lead people to experience God's transforming power in their lives! Our ministry initiatives are structured with a view toward life change versus dissemination of information - a genuine lifestyle change versus modification of behavior!
(James 1:22-25; II Peter 1:3-11)
PRIORITIES
These are the Priorities of Grace Church Roseville. To remember them just remember the acronym GRACE.

G = Growing
R = Responding
A = Adoring
C = Connecting
E = Extending

Growing - We are committed to discipleship by growing deeper in our understanding and application of biblical truth. Our focus is on a transforming life-change...not merely head knowledge.
(Colossians 1:28-29)
Responding - A natural outgrowth of a growing relationship with God is a heartfelt desire to allow Him to use our time, talent, and treasure for His desires and purposes in ministry and service. Our ministry staff's primary purpose is to equip God's people for God's work.
(Ephesians 4:11-16)
Adoring - As Christ-followers, our desire is to creatively exalt God through our prayer, praise, and relevant worship both corporately and individually. This is not limited to Sunday mornings but is intended to be lived out 24/7 and is to include all generations.
(John 4:22-24)
Connecting - Created in the image of God, people need authentic relationships to grow spiritually and stay healthy. Helping people find and build honest, encouraging, and loving relationships with other believers is an essential part of being a Christ-follower.
(Acts 2:46)
Extending - We want to love people the way that Jesus did in what we say and do. We're committed to sharing the reality of Jesus Christ with men and women, boys and girls, in relevant and creative ways.
(Matthew 28:18-20)
